Fresh herbs being steeped in a glass teapot

Nature's Pharmacy,
Steeped to Perfection

Ever wondered how a simple leaf can transform your afternoon? At Coralvine Elixirs, we've spent 12 years documenting the delicate chemistry between water, heat, and botanical wisdom.

The Herbal Encyclopedia

We believe that understanding the source is the first step toward true wellness. Whether you're a seasoned tea drinker or just starting your journey, these profiles provide the groundwork for safe and effective brewing.

Echinacea

Commonly known as the coneflower, this North American perennial has been used for centuries. Our research shows it's most effective when harvested at peak bloom for immune support.

  • Supports Immune System
  • Avoid if allergic to ragweed

Valerian Root

Nature's sedative. Valerian's pungent root contains valerenic acid, which helps quiet the mind. We've found the best results when steeped in slightly cooler water to preserve its volatile oils.

  • Promotes Restful Sleep
  • Do not combine with alcohol

Peppermint

The high menthol content in our ethically sourced peppermint leaves isn't just for flavour. It acts as a powerful antispasmodic for the digestive tract.

  • Aids Digestion
  • May worsen acid reflux

North American perennial used for centuries to bolster natural defences. Best harvested at peak bloom.

A potent root containing sleep-inducing compounds. Preserve volatile oils by avoiding boiling water.

High menthol content serves as a digestive aid. Great for post-meal relaxation.

Brewing Guide & Elixirs

Ready to move beyond the tea bag? Managing the variables of water temperature and leaf ratio is what separates a drink from a remedy. Our elixirs are crafted to be both functional and delicious.

The Golden Rules

  • Water: Never use re-boiled water (loss of oxygen).
  • Temp: Infusions like Peppermint need 95°C, but delicate flowers prefer 80°C.
  • Time: Don't rush; a medicinal brew takes 7-10 minutes.

Place 1 tbsp of dried sage and 1 tsp of marshmallow root into a warmed pot.

02

Pour 300ml of 90°C water and cover immediately to trap the steam.

03
